How can  one be assured of
Heaven as their eternal
Home?

By believing Jesus of Nazareth is the only begotten son of God, and that God raised him from the dead.

By believing, we accept him to come into our life as Lord and Saviour. How do we do that? Well, we begin by recognizing that we are separated from God's fellowship because of sin..., our sin, and we turn from sin to obedience to God. It's called repentance. We know we need a Saviour to bring us back to God, and a Lord to lead and guide us. Jesus is one in the same because God has made him both Saviour and Lord. Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life." He said NO ONE could come unto God except BY HIM. By believing he is THE WAY, accepting what he said as THE TRUTH, and allowing him in the person of the Holy Spirit to come into our heart and LIVE within us, we have peace with God.
Where do we begin? Ask. It's that simple. "Ask, and it shall be given..." It's called prayer. Right now, where you sit, stand or kneel, just speak your heart to God in Jesus' name as the Spirit leads, and you will be saved from all past sin and separation from God, unto a life of everlasting joy in Jesus Christ. "For everyone that asks..., receives."
Now, tell someone of your experience. The Bible says we believe unto righteousness with the heart, and that confession with the mouth is made unto salvation.
As the Holy Spirit leads, find yourself a local church to attend with fellow baptized believers for love, support, and fellowship as we encourage one another to "Soldier On!"
     Enjoy your new home!

When Jesus came into the coasts of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, saying, Whom do men say that I the Son of man am? And they said, Some say that thou art John the Baptist: some, Elias; and others, Jeremias, or one of the prophets. He saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am? And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God.

ye shall be free indeed."
